SAVVY is a herbicide absorbed by the leaves and roots and translocated by an ascending and descending system by meristems, where it blocks cell division. It acts by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), essential to the biosynthesis of the amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine. Systemic herbicide for application in post-emergence in cereals to control broadleaf weeds.
