Contact and ingestion acaricide
Raxon, containing the active substance abamectin, is a contact and ingestion acaricide belonging to the avermectin group. It acts on the nervous system as an agonist (activator) of glutamate-gated chloride channels (IRAC Group 6). It is effective against mites in protected crops when applied upon detection of the pest and in accordance with the approved conditions of use specified on the product label.
