It is with great excitement that we share the news that the Quinta do Paço vineyard has become the first in the Iberian Peninsula to receive Zero Residue certification from ZERYA®! This achievement is the result of an exemplary collaboration between Casa Américo Wines/Seacampo Lda. and Jovagro.
Zero Residue certification allows for the combined use of chemical and biological crop protection products (including beneficial insects and biotechnological control methods), provided the final product is of high quality and free from pesticide residues. The ZERYA® Zero Residue standard is awarded only to production that results in zero residues.
Implementing the Jovagro protocol played a pivotal role in this journey toward sustainability. Through innovative solutions and sustainable farming practices, we succeeded in reducing waste and promoting environmental preservation at Quinta do Paço.
