Flurokey
Herbicide
Flurokey is a systemic post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in citrus, apple, pear, quince, loquat and olive orchards, as well as in turf.
Flurokey is based on fluroxypyr, an active substance belonging to the pyridyloxycarboxylic acid chemical group and classified as a synthetic auxin (HRAC Group 4). It is absorbed through both the foliage and roots and is translocated through the symplast and apoplast, accumulating in meristematic tissues.
It disrupts normal cell development by mimicking the action of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA).
No professional applicator licence is required.
