Keynyl
Herbicide with foliar and root uptake
Keynyl is a fluroxypyr-based herbicide belonging to the pyridyloxycarboxylic acid chemical group and classified as a synthetic auxin (HRAC Group 4).
It is absorbed through both the foliage and roots and translocated through the symplast and apoplast, accumulating in meristematic tissues.
Keynyl inhibits cell development by mimicking the action of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA).
